
My Husband Has CMl For Which He Takes Gleevac He Feels Horrible, Dizzy, Weak, Flu-like Symptoms, Nauseous (especially After A Light Meal), Short Of Breath Should It Be Worried?

Question: My husband has CMl for which he takes Gleevac; congestive heart, A Fib, pacemaker/defibrillator that he takes Eliquis. He's also on Finesteride, Furosemide.Metropolol, Ativan, Welbutrin and Ambien to sleep. He feels horrible, Dizzy, weak, flu-like symptoms, nauseous (especially after a light meal), short of breath. His doctors don't seem to see any problems since his numbers are good. Help !

As you described, your husband is suffering from several conditions,and he is under treatment for those. In my opinion I will agree with his doctor at the moment that his exams are in controlled range.
It’s normal for him to have those symptoms,because he have chronic diseases which can’t be cured and long term medicines are needed. We can try to figure which medicine may be exacerbating his symptoms, and its dose may be reduced.
