Question: My husband's ears have been ringing for about 1 to 2 weeks. He gets really bad headaches he feels like his brain is being squoshed. On his right temple he said at times it feels like his head is going to explode. He has a large marble size mass at the bottom of the left side of his neck under the skin (only feel it). He discovered it approximately 1 week ago. Now, you can see it on the bottom of his neck but still under the skin

Brief Answer:
Hearing tests, USG Neck, USG guided FNAC.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. The ringing in the ears is known as Tinnitus.

2. An ear examination, PTA (Pure Tone Audiogram), I/A (Impedance Audiogram), Tinnitus evaluation can be done.

3. An ultrasound (USG) Neck should be done to identify the left-sided neck mass. USG guided FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) will also help identify this neck mass and need for any further investigations.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards
