My Index Finger Is Curved Into My Middle Finger. Not
Question: My index finger is curved into my middle finger. Not sure why and what caused this . I have been having pain and stiffness and some tremor in that finger and the middle finger for the last 7-10 days. Yesterday I had a sharp pain or cramp in my index hand which spread to my wrist, forearm and elbow.
I am 100% sure it was straight before yesterday, not sure what happened. What could have caused this?
I am low on vitamin d3 and taking pills for the same.

Should I go and see an orthopedic for the same? I have an EMG/NCV scheduled with a neurologist for some twitching this Thursday will that be helpful in finding out something?

Also, my index finger moves side ways or back and forth for like 2-3 seconds, not sure if it’s twitching or tremor

I have reviewed your attached image and video. It doesn't look like anything sinister like an acute infection, abscessyor any fracture.
It's possible there may be joint inflammation if you have any pain in the joints of that finger. It's best you get it looked at by a Rheumatologist to rule out various arthritis. You need certain blood tests done.
The tremors are coarse more like twitching of the muscles which needs to be investigated with NCS or EMG.

I am seeing a neurologist for the same. Have EMG/ncv on Thursday.

Is this common or normal? I have asked my doctor he says it’s normal and no need for seeing any specialist. He has ordered some blood words like electrolyte imbalance and magnesium,b12 and so on
