My Left Inner Ear Is Stopped Up And I Cannot

default
Posted on Sun, 21 Apr 2019
Question: My left inner ear is stopped up and I cannot get it opened. My sinuses feel stuffy and I have a constant ringing in my left ear. At times I have a headache and pain behind my left eye. This is a recurring problem but rare. I was diagnosed with vestibular migraine with vertigo about six years ago. I do not know if that diagnosis is correct although it was made by an ENT. What can I do, if anything, at home to solve my issue. It has even ongoing for one month. I

Brief Answer:
Hii. It's evident from your symptoms that you are having allergic rhinitis

Detailed Answer:
Hii. It's evident from your symptoms that you are having allergic rhinitis that is inflammation of the sinuses and nose. Due to this your left eustachian tube may be getting blocked. This may cause constant ringing in the ear. You can start nasal fluticasone spray, steam inhalation, antiallergic tablet levocetrizine. This will decrease inflammation of your sinuses and will open the eustachian block. You should also do a hearing test and nasal endoscopy to know exact hearing status and condition of your nose.
