My leg and my arm is tender.
It only been happening for a couple of days. I did fall last week and hit my knee onto the floor. I did not notice the black and blue marks until today. I have never experienced anything like this so that’s why I have been concerned. I hope this is enough information.

The swelling in the leg as seen in the leg appears to be due to one of the following reasons:
The edema or blood collection in the muscle group. This night have happened due to sudden muscle spasm. Similar problem might have occurred in the affected arm.
I would advise you the following:
Take an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
Give rest to the affected parts.
If this does not give relief then X-ray and Ultrasonography of the affected area may be needed to know the exact cause and effect of the swelling and decide any further management as per the cause found.
