My Legs Feel Very Painful. They Feel Really Tight From

Question: My legs feel very painful. They feel really tight from my lower shins to the tops of my legs. I have a very hard time sleeping at night because the pain wakes me up. The muscles in my arms are very similar.
I was misdiagnosed 20 years ago only to find out 2 years ago that I have Lyme disease. Went through treatment in Arizona 2 years ago, have done well until the last 4 weeks. I am really struggling with this pain. I take Nortriptyline for pain management.

Brief Answer:
A number of possible causes
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
I have gone through your question and I can understand your concerns...
Please note that this could be due to a number of causes including peripheral vascular insufficiency, vitamin B-12 deficiency or vertebral column pathologies...
This is why I would recommend that you get a blood test for vitamin B-12 level along with a Duplex ultrasound on your upper and lower extremities and a CT scan of your cervical and thoracic vertebrae. Do discuss regarding these with your treating physician also.
I hope you find this helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
