No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sushma,
Welcome to Ask A Doctor service
I have gone through your query and understand your concern

As there is a close contact, this can be COVID. But we need not worry much.
For a more clear picture, I would like to get few more details:

1. His approximate body weight
2. He had any significant medical issues in the past- like allergy/asthma/or any other diseases requiring regular treatment?
3. If possible, count his breathing- how many breaths in 60 seconds?
4. Is he otherwise active and taking food?
5. Do you have an oxygen saturation monitor(pulse oximeter) at home?
6. Which cough syrup you are giving?

Until then, no worries- stay relaxed.
Get him home home isolated, continue giving paracetamol, ensure adequate fluid intake and a soft diet.
I will give more detailed advise on receiving the above details.
