Brief Answer:
can be due to nitrofurantoin.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for choosing "Ask A Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your details and i appreciate your concerns,
Work of liver in body is to metabolize things.Same applies with medicines specially antibiotics. When ever a person is on antibiotics liver cells are damaged hence the enzymes stored in them are released into blood causing elevation of liver functions.
As ultrasound is normal i would suggest you to get a serology test done i.e HBsAG and HCV if they are normal take sylimarin milk of thistle for 15 days along with herbal tablets LIV52 once daily(available online) they would help the liver to rejenuvate.
Take a high carbohydrate based diet easy to digest.
Avoid to much fat and meat.

Repeat the tests after 15 days(make sure no antibiotics are taken in between).
Follow ups are welcome!
Regards!

How long does it take for nitrofurantoin to stop affecting the liver enzymes? About how many days? Could the change from valsartin to losartin be the cause of increase of enzymes?
