Question: My mom is 65 y/o pt hypertensive took amlodipine 5 mg caused her side effect such as sweating muscle pain palpitation then it was stable her palpitation.. fatigue she stopped taking the med two days ago all her symptoms resolved but her bp is dropping low

After going Through the medical details provided by you I can understand your concern for your mothers health and I would like to tell you that if your blood pressure is going low that is below hundred by 60 then it’s advisable that you should monitor and chat on a paper her BP twice a day for the next 3 to 5 days to get an idea of an average BP so that the antihypertensive medication dose can be adjusted accordingly.
