Question: My mother was hospitalization because of a general unexplained infection which caused her UTI and infection on the outer part of the eye which resulted in cornea damage and loss of vision on the left eye. Two weeks after being discharged she had her eye under control but her bloodwork came with hints of an infection and the urine test revealed two mayor things: an infection of Citrobacter freundii and her blood came with and observation of macrocytosis. She feels weak and her arms and legs have red spots called patechia. What will happen to her if she doesn't treat this? What may she have?

Brief Answer:
Urine culture sensitivity test

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I would advise her first to do culture sensitivity of urine.

Then sensitive antibiotic she has to take atleast 10 days

Since she also having petechiae i would advise further blood work such as bleeding time, clotting time PT and INR
