Question: My mother with Diabetes from past years is usually in control now and not taking any medicine as per doctors advice as her sugar level goes low sometimes.
We had a routine check up today and her results where as follows,
Fasting - 128 mg/dl
PLBS - 280 mg/dl
Can you advice if she should take any tablets? if yes, which ones?

dear sir, I am sorry to say but the sugars are not good. She needs to be treated. please start metformin 500mg twice a day , before breakfast and before dinner .
but at the same time we need few more tests.

6. LIPID PROFILE
please get these tests done and let me know.
