My Mother's Age Is 61 And Yesterday On 27th September 2018 There Was A Cataract Operation ( MicroPhaco) At Right Eye. After The Operation , She Was Able To See But Suddenly From 9:30 PM Yesterday , Her Right Eye's Vision Is Lost. I Am Not Able To Find Any Reason , Although I Took Her Today To The Same Clinic, The Doctor( Surgeon) Is Also Not Able To Find Any Specific Reason. Please Guide Me Is It Normal Or I Need To Act Fast To Bring Back Her Vision?

Question: My mother's age is 61 and yesterday on 27th September 2018 there was a cataract operation ( microPhaco) at right eye. After the operation , she was able to see but suddenly from 9:30 PM yesterday , her right eye's vision is lost. I am not able to find any reason , although i took her today to the same clinic, the Doctor( surgeon) is also not able to find any specific reason. Please guide me is it normal or i need to act fast to bring back her vision. Kindly help.

This most unusual.The reasons are either retinal, neurological or vascular.
Ask your doctor to examine the retina, hopefully he has already examined that.
Consult a neurologist immediately.
Consult a cardiologist.Preferably a place where a cardiologist and neurologist are available and co ordinating.
