Brief Answer:
Keep blood pressure under control and take blood thinners.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

Right leg swollen can show circulation problems of the leg.
Taking raparil dragees can help.
Also she can keep leg elevated, put leg in cold water and also may need to use compressive stockings.
Also she should take blood medications regularly and keep blood pressure under control.
Also taking blood thinners is very important in order to prevent blood clots.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
