My Navel Was Leaking And Smelling Bad..so I Found Out

Question: My navel was leaking and smelling bad..so I found out in net that it must be a bacterial or fungal infection..and we can use dettol.
I used Dettol for two days..and now my navel colour has changed to red and leaking whitish discharge and smelling more bad.
What am I gonna do with the colour of the navel?How will it go?

It seems infected. Avoid dettol as it seems to have caused irritation. I suggest you to take an oral antibiotic e.g either amoxicillin or cephalexin for a week. In addition I suggest you to use a topical antibiotic e.g either neosporin ointment or Mupirocin 2% ointment, twice daily for a few days.
