It iis transmitted through sexually.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

Is it more possible for my girlfriend to have already had ureaplasma parvum in her body and a weak immune system caused the spike in bacteria? She had a yeast infection also
Brief Answer:
Given.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You can go for a confirmatory test like PCR from the vaginal swab to confirm whether it is ureaplasma infection or not.
Ureaplasma is a skin commensal and may not not be pathogenic and turn to pathogenic once the general immune system of body declines. Once the immunity is week, the bacterial load increases and will become symptomatic. In your case, your partner may be harbouring ureaplasma in the dormant state and concurrent yeast infection and weak immunity turned them in to pathogenic form.
However in most cases it will not cause much problems and settle with antibiotics.
