My Period Is 23 Days Late, But Urine, Blood, And

default

Question: My period is 23 days late, but urine, blood, and ultrasound are negative for pregnancy. I have lots of pregnancy symptoms including morning sickness and a growing belly. I was diagnosed with adenomyosis, which aligns with symptoms that I have experienced in the past, but I'm having NO period, not heavy periods right now. So, I think that's a chronic condition that doesn't explain this acute situation. The doctor confirmed that I have an enlarged uterus. I'm very uncomfortable and fatigued. Meanwhile, my very round, hard, pregnant-looking belly is growing an average of a 1/2" per day. Are there any other illnesses that would make sense?

Brief Answer:
Needs examination by your Gynecologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) All your symptoms are related to adenomyosis. This is known effects of adenomyosis.

2) Delayed periods are due to adenomyosis and hormonal variations.

3) Increased size of the tummy is due to adenomyosis. But a sudden increase of half-inch daily is dangerous and warrants examination by your gynecologist to rule out any type of cancer or fluid in the abdomen.

Let me know if you need any more assistance.

Regards
