My Question Concerns A Episode Of Lightheadedness This Morning. It

Question: My question concerns a episode of lightheadedness this morning. It has been a while since I have had such an episode since being treated by a cardiologist.
Last year, after making the same complaint, I eventually ended up at the cardiologist office. He discovered that I have an enlarged ascending aorta, for which I was prescribed:
Lisinopril 5mg
Metoprolol ER Succinate 25mg
Rosuvastatin 10mg
I also have been taking Levothyroxine 125mg for years which has stabilized my hyperthyroid diagnosis.
The only other medication I take is a daily 81mg aspirin regimen.
Not surprisingly the latest episode happened while leaning over my desk viewing my computer monitor intensely. I have been in this position a number of times when I had these episodes.
I thought I was "cured" once I started to take the medications, but now I am concerned again.
Your professional opinion would be very much appreciated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello There
After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that feeling lightheaded or dizzy can be simply because of your leaning forward position due to vagal stimulation and is harmless.
Also it could be because of some transient underlying cardiac rhythm abnormality which is not uncommon in associated thyroid abnormality.
So to rule out that I would like to suggest you to kindly get a repeat test for your thyroid hormone levels and a 24 hrs holter monitoring done.
For enlarged aorta a follow up echocardiogram is recommended every 6-12 months.
Kind Regards
