My Right Testicle Is Hanging Lower Than My Left By
I have frequent urination and heaviness or ache in the ball area.
In 2018 i had an ache in the area that was prostatis per my urologist. It went away. It’s the same type of ache but now with this hanging right testicle.
Shape remains the same and no lumps or unusual feel (i don’t check often. Only difference i notice is the hanging lower).
All symptoms began 3 days ago. Full disclosure - i did have 4 orgasms in 36 hours which is abnormal. I also am taking an anti biotic for 10 days called amoxicillin. I’m on day 9. This was for strep throat.
I have a urologist appointment for December 6th. Is this a medical emergency? What should i do? Relatively healthy with no prior recurring medical issues.
What could cause one testicle to drop lower than the other? What tests should i ask the urologist to run?
FYI - relatively healthy. Recently had strep throat and viral infection took amoxicillin. No other health issues in 2019
Having one testicle at lower level thn other is not abnormal.

Hello
Thanks for query .
I have gone through my earlier reply to your query about the same issue and I again reiterate that having one testicle at lower level than other is not abnormal at all and there is no significance to it .
As regards pain in testicle it could be due to mild infection of the epididymis (Epididymitis)
Get following basic tests done to confirm the same
1) Urine routine and Urine culture .
2) Ultrasound of Scrotum (If not done so far)
Continue taking Amoxicillin and add anti inflammatory medication like Brufen or Diclofenac twice daily .
Ensure to drink more water .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
Dr.Patil.
I was fine on Sunday night and Monday morning i woke with the symptoms.
Could be due to infection of Testicle(Orchitis)
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .
Pain ,swelling could be mostly due to infection of either Epididymis (Epididymitis) or Testicle (Orchitis) which can be confirmed on Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum.
Thank and Regards.
