Hello,
I understand your concern

These symptoms suggests a flu
Most likely the will improve with symptomatic treatment of 3-4 days.

Give him the following drugs(dose is assuming his weight to be 35-40kg; correct me if not):

1. T. PARACETAMOL 500mg- one tab for fever, upto
2. T. Levocetirizine 5mg- one tab at night
3. Oxymetazoline(0.025%) nasal drops

Antibiotics are not needed at this stage.

Along with this, let him take rest, do warm saline gargles for sore throat and drink enough fluids. Frequent swallowing(fluid sips/chewing um) will open up auditory tube and relieve ear block faster

If not improving in 3-4 days, we can evaluate further
