Question: My son 16 years of age .weight 64 kg height 5.2 ft . suffering from hyper salivation , lethargy and anxiety ..and noticed sone behaviour changes .... causing sleepless nights . He not able to sleep. We did all blodd reports ..vitamin levels are okay now ..since he is taking macbrite ...but sgpt is 131 and sgot is 56 .. billurubin is 1.23 ..contacted a physician on what's app ..suggested to take neurokind lc tablet one daily after dinner , tryptomer 10 mg 1/2 daily at night and cyra d one in morning...also prescribed one bandy plus tablet.. please suggest if he can take nurokind lc and bandy plus ..since sgpt and sgot levels bit fight . Else kindly suggest medicine for my son in this situation..

Can take these medication should not be a problem.
But need to find the exact cause of raised liver enzymes (SGOT /SGPT)
Worthwhile getting an complete LFT, HBsAg, anti HCV antibody, TSH, Lipid profile serum ceruloplasmin and ultrasound of abdomen to ascertain the cause.
Also ensure that he is not taking any alternative medications. Also ensure he does not become obese. Can start ursocol sr 450 twice a day after consulting your doctor.

Thanks sir ..we did all detailed blood abd urine tests for him .rests seems ok..sending detailed report for your review and suggestion..current medicine going on : neurokind lc, tryptomer 10 mg 1/2 tab daily after dinner and cyra d in morning empty stomach ..bandy plus yet to give him..please suggest if sorbiline syp can be started along with all this ..does he really need any medicine to reduce the sgpt and sgot level now or rest and home remedy will be okay ..please suggest ...can we start ursocol sr since no history of gall stone ..please suggest..if ursocol what is the dose and for how many days he needs the sane. pls suggest. sending detailed blood reports.

Well, Sorbiline is of no proven benefit for the liver.
Ursocol has some hepatoprotective effect. You can wait for two weeks repeat liver function test and see then can decide on starting Ursocol after consulting your doctor in the doses I have mentioned above (it's 15mg / kg /day).

I have gone through your reports just go through the list of the test I have already advised earlier, discuss with your doctor and then take a call.

Thank you sir .rests mentioned by you already did except the ultrasound of abdomen ..as suggested by u we will conduct another LFT after two weeks and then consult doctor ..since due to lockdown doctors here not reachable here. no other Medicine he is taking other than those I mentioned . in morning he is feeling very week and sleeping is a major problem now ..found some kind of fungaaa round finger nails and some on feet .. is this fungas or something else due to increase in liver enzymes .. please suggest sir I am too much worried about my son . ..and please let me know if consultation with you is possible wih video call in anyways ....Thanks XXXXXXX XXXXXXX 0000

Well liver rash is unlikely to come at places YOu described.
LIKELY it is a fungal infection. can try applying candid b cream for 2 weeks and see.
If no relief in 10 days can meet a dermatologist.
Dont get worried.
