Brief Answer:
Allow antibiotics to act

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Antibiotics are given for few days and then it takes 3-5 more days for their effect to be seen. So allow them to act.
If it is a viral infection, it will recover by itself in few days and antibiotics will have no action at all on a virus.

I think it is most probaby a viral action. It will recover by itself and antibiotic is not needed.

Antibiotic is needed if it is a proven case of typhoid, so get a widal and typhidot test done.

Regards,
Dr Vaishalee
