Brief Answer:
Looks like middle ear infection - Otitis media

Detailed Answer:
Hello... I understand your concern.

CBC report seems to be unremarkable and is not suggestive of any serious infection.

But at the same time from the symptom analysis I feel that your boy might require antibiotic therapy for a period of 10 days as I am suspecting middle ear infection here.

I personally recommend oral antibiotic amoxicillin-clavulanate for a period of 10 days.

But unfortunately this is a prescription medication and he will require a doctor's prescription for this please.

Please do not put any ear drops as they are contraindicated.

Best regards - Dr Sumanth Amperayani
