Question: Hi doctor my son is four years old and he weighs 17 and 1/2 kgs four days back he had some cake and outside food and next day he had a fever that lasted for few hours which subsided after I gave him dolo250 suspension. Since then he had no fever but had one vomiting later he started complaining of stomach pain and he had loose motions which aggrevated till next day he was not dehydrated but every time he eats something he complains of stomach pain and after passing stool he is relieved.I started giving him enterogermina and ofm syrup for two days. In between if he complains of stomach pain I gave him cyclopam. Yesterday his loose motions were controlled but sometimes complaining of stomach pain after eating. From today morning he suddenly had fever i gave dolo 250 after few hours fever came back it was 102 and 103 so doctor said to stop ofm syrup and start taxim o and meftal forte which I gave him tonight .Fever came down now but slight stomach pain is there only after eating or drinking only for few minutes .Do suggest should I continue taxim o and meftal if fever persists.
