My Son Is Six Years Old And Has Developed A

Question: My son is six years old and has developed a severe skin allergy in the last few days. It itches quite a bit. It started after we came back from vacation after a train journey. Also, I've had skin problems recently and my doctor called it eczema. Can you please recommend some medication that will relieve him of the itching sensation?

I am uploading pics.
Brief Answer:
Papular urticaria, topical steroid antibiotic combination, antihistaminic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It is looking like papular urticaria which is an insect bite hypersensitivity reaction.
I would recommend you to apply a topical steroid and antibiotic combination cream like mometasone and fusidic acid cream ( momate F cream) on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like syrup levocetrizine 5 ml twice daily for 10 days.
This will help in relieving his itching.
These are prescription drugs and should be taken under the supervision of the doctor.

Dr Asmeet

Thank you Dr Asmeet. Wanted to check if there's another opinion as well before I go ahead with the medication.
