My Vitamin B12 Count Keeps Going To A Low Normal
Question: My vitamin b12 count keeps going to a low normal and has for years. It is now at 423 on a scale of 200 to 1100. A few months ago it was at 568 and I felt pretty good. Right now I have weak and dizzy spells and am exhausted most days. Last time this happened it got down to 350 before I was on b12.
Question is how many mcg's of b12 should I take daily to get my level back up. My PCP says the level is fine but I know it isn't. I have a history of this.

Would it be a good idea to get a b12 shot. We have a walk in clinic here that offers them for $10. This is my last question concerning this for now.
Brief Answer:
It is possible
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, hello again.. The vitamin b12 shot has a faster effect but is a painful shot. So, if you have a good tolerance to pain then you can take one shot weekly for four weeks then go back to the 100 mcg pills.. I hope you find this helpful..
