My Wife Has Had Problems With Low Iron But Stored Ferritin Has Been Normal
Question: My wife has had problems with low iron but stored ferritin has been normal. Her hemoglobin is normal. She had two iron infusions and her ferritin went to 2600. Then after a month it dropped to 1400. Was this high number because of iron overload or because of another condition?
