My Wife Is 37 Plus And She Is Also Covered

Question: My wife is 37 plus and she is also covered under this health insurance. My query is that she has missed the period this month. Last time she had period was on 13 March. She usually mens every 25 days cycle, but she hasn't yet. Then we tested for pregnancy with a strip on 16 which also came as negative. (though i can assure that we never planned for baby and neither did anything as such). Please suggest what can be issue with this missed period.
Brief Answer:
It could be due to hormonal imbalance .
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your healthcare.
I have gone through your history and understand your concern.
If your pregnancy test is negative, you can go for blood beta HCG levels to rule out the possibility of pregnancy.
It could be due to hormonal imbalance most likely, get your Hb, thyroid profile and pelvic ultrasound to rule out the possibility of pregnancy.
If pregnancy is not found, you can go for withdrawal bleeding.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
