My Wife Is Complaining Of Pain On Her Left Side

default
Posted on Thu, 18 Oct 2018
Question: My wife is complaining of pain on her left side of the head just above ear and says can feel a bump (sort of swelling) with pain from past 2 days. she does not remember injuring herself or hitting anywhere but it pains when we touch it or she opens her mouth wide (when skin stretches). till today she didn't have any other symptoms than this but today she also says at times her eyes are blurry for a second or two. I'm concerned about this to know if it could be a tumor of some sort. we have an appointment with a Neurologist tomorrow evening but just wanted an opinion from you as well so that I can be prepared to ask the right questions tomorrow. do these symptoms resemble a tumor or can it be just bang on head? I've heard that tumors usually are not painful. is this true? please advise.

Brief Answer:
As explained below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I have gone through the details. It doesn't sound like a tumor. If possible please attach some photos of the area where she has pain.

Tumors can be ruled out with an MRI. If needed I would suggest you get an MRI of the brain done to rule out.

I hope this answered your query.

Regards,
