Question: My wife is feeding mother of 2 years 9 months old son. From yesterday onwards she stopped breast feeding. But she felt still breast milk is producing. Can you please give me medication to stop breast milk produce.
More details :
This is her first delivery, we planned for next baby on next year. This medication not affect next baby.
Her age 29

I understand your concerns,

Following is my reply:

1) We do not write prescriptions here on this website as you need to request for medicines to stop breast milk production from your gynecologist.

2) Your gynecologist will prescribe you Tab. Cabergolin 0.5 mg daily for 10 days. This will help in stopping breast milk production.

3) This will not affect your next baby and there is nothing to worry about it.

4) Also wrap tight cloth around chest for a week to compress breasts to stop production of breast milk.
