Brief Answer:
She maybe having a disc prolapse

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

From your description she maybe having a disc prolapse that is causing the leg pain as well. Since it is severe, I will recommend you to visit an orthopedic surgeon at the earliest and get MRI scan and other tests done to confirm diagnosis. He will able to give stronger medicines as per the diagnosis.

Until you are able to see a doctor, I will recommend complete bed rest and pain killers and muscle relaxants. She can take Tab Aceclo-MR 3-4 times a day to get relief from pain. If this doesnt help then Pregabalin may need to be taken for neuralgic pain.
Avoid lifting heavy weights. Keep a pillow under your knees if needed. Physiotherapy after consulting orthopedic surgeon will help strengthen back muscles. Physiotherapy plays a major role in this condition. Use LS contour belt of appropriate size.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
