Almost regular periods just delay of 1-2 days. Kindly suggest the use of emergency contraceptive.
Consume the pulls after food. Within 72 hours.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As you might be aware that, in a woman with regular cycle day 10 to 20 of the cycle is the most fertile period. If you happen to have unprotected sexual activity in this period then you stand chance to get pregnant.
As per your history, you had unprotected sexual activity on day 8 of the cycle. As such chances of getting pregnant are almost nil.
But if you still opt to use emergency contraceptive pill, you can consume them after having food. Please do take antacid like Pantoprazole and Domperidone combination before food.
If needed please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for the same.
If taken within 72 hours of unprotected sexual activity, emergency contraceptive pills help to prevent pregnancy in almost all women.
After taking emergency contraceptive pills, you will get withdrawal bleeding. It can be early or late and it can be scanty or heavy.
Please consult your gynecologist, if you don't get any periods after your expected date of menses in the month of August.
Please feel free to communicate with me again if needed.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
