Hello Dr,

I am 30 yrs old female, working in an IT organization. I am suffering from hair loss. I do not have any medical/ family history and did not feel any nutritional deficiency. But yes, I have the stress of daily routine. which i think we all suffers.

One think wanted to bring in that i do color my hairs with loreal INOA. I am not sure that this hair loss is because of the color or not. Using this from one and half yr. Recently facing this issue.

Looking for your suggestions on my issue.

Brief Answer:
necessary instructions and management.

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for reverting back.

1. As you have been coloring your hair: is it possible that you do too much with your hair like irregular trimming, excess shampooing, weaving, coloring, too much dry heat (blow dryers), manual stress (physical trauma)?

2. Type of hairstyle you usually prefer: do you have long or short hair AND whether the hair is dry or brittle?

3. Please revert back with the above concerns for the treatment aspect, in the meantime, the preventive aspect is given below

i.     Avoid too much exposure to the sun.
ii. Avoid high extremes of temperature such as used in hair straightening devices.
iii.     After bath make sure you avoid vigorous toweling of hair, let them dry naturally.
iv.     Make less choice for synthetic hair oils, hair coloring, bleaching, styling, and use of dry blowers.
v.     Avoid excessive exposure to sun, heat, wind, dust, anger, stress, anxiety,
vi.     Avoid oily, fried, spicy, hot, fermented, and stale food.
vii.     .Proteins are essential for antibody production so milk, egg (white), beans, yogurt, soymilk, pumpkin,
watermelon, peanuts, almonds, and non-vegetarian (meat) are choices.
viii. XXXXXXX carrots, cantaloupe, egg yolk, apricots, pumpkin, and papaya, are ideal.
ix.     Vitamin C: is needed for the proper functioning of the immune system: amla is a good option.
x.     Vitamin E: is a powerful antioxidant thus peanuts, dried apricots, cooked spinach taro root can be taken
xi.     Soap nut (reetha) and shikakai along with Bhringraj and Neelini oil act as natural conditioner and XXXXXXX you can use it safely.

PS. let me know about points 1 & 2 for the treatment aspect, and hoping I have given due consideration to taking up your Medical History, any suggestions are Welcome. [ also as we do prepare medicines ourselves, so let me know if you want the medicines or only which are available online]

Thanks for reverting back

1. Capsules/tablets for hair: make sure that apart from amla, bhringraj, it should contain methi and ghritkumari. (Same goes with the oil in addition with nagarmootha, til taila)

2. Hair serum of your choice (I usually prescribe Ayurveda conditioner made with lemongrass, neem, tulsi, amla, bhringraja, shikakai and honey.

3. Tablet containing biotin and acetyl cysteine as the main ingredient ( for strengthening of hair)

4. One can practice nasya (nasal drops) of medicated oil in nostrils.
