Noticed Dark Spots Is Stool. FOBT Negative. Looking For Proper Diagnosis

Question: Dear Sir,
I am wondering if it is ok to upload photos of stool which look suspicious on this website?
I do have dark spots on the stool sometimes but the FOBT was negative. Is it possible for the dark spots to be from bleeding which concentrates in certain areas but then leaves the rest of the stool untouched so that the FOBT can't pick up any blood?

Hi Dr. Kini,

Thanks for agreeing to look at the photos. I have attached the photos. There is a larger black or dark XXXXXXX to the left of the image. There also appear to be dark smaller marks throughout the stool but they are well defined which is why I wonder whether the faecal occult blood test would pick up anything if not touching directly the darker marks.

Even it is in one part of the stool, blood will be detected by FOBT.

Hi,
I had a look at the photos.
It does not look like blood. It is more likely to be undigested food particle.
And I again tell you, if it was blood it would have been detected by FOBT.
