Noticed Mucus In Bowel Movement. Looking For Advice
Question: i recently went to the bathroom and had a bm, upon wiping i observe mucus...pls explain why,

Mucus is a regular content of our stool,
All of us pass some amount of mucus with stool, that's the nature's way of facilitating hard stools out without pain.
There is no need to worry for a slight greasy feel or presence of mucus because at times the stool might get dry and the mucus can be felt separately from it but it is always present with motions.
If the amount is in excess and present all the time for many days then it may denote a disease condition that might need investigations like stool examination, local examination, endoscopy etc.
No need to be worried if you do not have symptoms.
