Question: Now a days I have observed a skin problem. my skin turns red when it casually touches or rubs something with a small time duration and also the skin gets easily indented for some time when pinched or touched with some object for some time. I have never experienced these before. Is it a because of vitamin deficiencies or any other reasons. please suggest. Thanks

Brief Answer:
It could be vitamin C or K deficiency

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Skin redness is a sign of inflammation or easy bruising. It may result after an antibiotic use and could be because of vitamin K or C deficiency. You can take lime water with some salt 2 glasses in morning every day empty stomach. For vitamin K, we can check vitamin K levels in blood.
Indentation could be due to fluid accumulation in body, so we need basic blood tests like complete blood count, liver function test, kidney function test, serum electrolytes, thyroid profile, lipid profile, fasting blood glucose, prothrombin time, C reactive protein, blood B12, calcium, vitamin D levels.
Also an ECG and chest X ray PA view needed.

Please revert with reports.
