On Tues Night I Went To Urgent Care And Was Told It Was Conjunctivitis He Said Dermatitis And Approved Of The Eye Drop Is It Okay To Steam My Eyes And Then Clean Them?
Question: On Tues night I went to Urgent care and was told it was conjunctivitis (I had big red raccoon eyes. Redness larger than my eyeglasses). I was prescribed an antihistitime eye drop.
Wednesday I saw eye doct. He said dermatitis and approved of the eye drop from teh previous night. I had some hydrocortisone cream 2.5% and he said that was okay to use for the inflammation.
My eyes are much better, although still bothersome.
I am 65 years old and also struggle with blepharitis. My eyes now have that gray tinge to them that comes with blepharitis. Is it okay to steam my eyes and then clean them (my normal routine to keep blepharitis from bothering me, but I haven't done it for several days because of the stuff above.
