Our Child S Doctor Recommended Administering P250 In A 3.5ml To 6 Dose Is It Safe

Question: Our child's doctor recommended administering P250 in a 3.5ml dosage (for a weight of 12Kg) every 4 hours in case of a fever. This would amount to 6 doses within a 24-hour period. However, the instructions on the bottle state that only 4 doses are allowed. Seeking guidance on the appropriate course of action.
Brief Answer:
I think he meant during daytime
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
Please note that paracetamol is to be given only if fever is greater than 102f.
I also think that the doctor meant that its to be given when during daytime. I agree with you and I will suggest to give it in dose of 3 ml for a 3-4 times in a day. It can be given every 4-6 hrs as needed depending on the fever. However it is not a cure of the issue. It is just for controlling the symptom of fever.
