Over A Month Ago I Fell On My Back. Since
Question: Over a month ago I fell on my back. Since then my body hasn’t felt the same. First ,my vagina and anus was vibrating. I spoke with a doctor and they told me what I needed to do. And it worked. The vibrations finally stopped. But then I wore a pair of leggings and socks while working out went to sleep with them on and I had the pins and needles sensation for a week but the feeling subsided as well. Only to return because I wore a pair of leggings that weren’t tight but the sensations returned. I had started taking B12 supplements about 3 weeks ago and now my who body feels shaky. The sensations are different now. Now so much as pins and needles but more of a twitchy nervous feeling from my head to toe. I’m trying not to get too anxious but I don’t know what to do. I have been on a very strict diet and I walk everywhere. When I’m moving I don’t feel them as much but if I sit still I feel it all over. Could I have a pinched nerve? And what should I do? My doctors appointment is not until next month.
I just realized that I hadn’t eaten enough today. I had breakfast at 10 am but didn’t eat lunch until 4:30 pm. Though I still have the sensations but I’m not jittery anymore.
Brief Answer:
Hypoglycaemia is happening. Check for diabetes.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think the pins and needles, twitching nervous system feeling from head to toe, nervousness you are currently feeling don't seem much related to the symptoms you had a month ago, vibrating sensation in vagina, anus and legs.
The symptoms you had if vibrating vagina and anus as well as pins and needles in legs were more related to trauma you had a month ago. Possibly a pinched nerve in lower back due to trauma. Recuperation happened, exercises have helped. Taking vitamin B 12 was a good move to help with nerve problems and the sensation to subside.
The new situation you are having of twitching and nervous feeling, pins and needles from head to nay be caused by systemical issue. You have been fasting for quite a long time as you stated below and this may have made glucose levels to fall. Hypoglycaemia can cause, tiredness, sweating, lack of concentration, nervousness. The pins and needles sensation can mostly be caused by diabetes.
I can suggest you to do fasting glucose levels, post prandial glucose levels, HbA1c.
Also I would recommend you to check thyroid function doing T3, T4 and TSH levels. Also do a total blood count with formula.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Good morning Dr. Xhufka..
I have an appointment for an overall checkup next month but last night before I went to bed I decided to look into the best sleeping position for a better nights sleep. I slept with a pillow between my knees while sleeping on my side.
When I woke this morning the sensations in my legs were extremely faint. My lower right side is still sore from the fall I had taken a few weeks again.
Though I’ve lost weight I still have an apron stomach and when I push on it a little I feel the pain on the side that I hurt.
As far as my diet....I eat protein, fruits and vegetables everyday. No sugars, fried foods, watch my salt intake, drink only water and if any carbs I always eat fiber but a small amount. I’m on Weight Watchers and it’s been working very well.
I literally never had this problem before the fall. Thank you for your advice.
