Question: Overlook my labs
I am worried about my kidneys. I have taken tetracycline for my acne in the last few weeks and also could be a bit dehydrated.

do you have any symptoms and why did you those tests. that is important.
early signs of kidney disease are
1. high blood pressure
2. swelling in legs and
3. reports
if you are worried to rule out kidney problem try to get ultrasound KUB and urine routine and urine spot Protein/creatinine ratio

bun creatinine ratio shoukd be 20:1. but it can vary with hydration level and diet. so i feel you should disregard it and monitor serum creatinine values

Thanks doc. My serum creatinine 0.6 was on there as you saw going over my labs. It’s always been 0.6-0.8
