Brief Answer:
Injury in ear canal

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

During cleaning with ear bud, it may have touched some part of ear canal and caused injury. Or you may have pushed ear wax further and it maybe causing ear pain. Mostly it will get better by itself. You may take ibuprofen 200 mg twice a day as a painkiller.
In some rare cases, there maybe injury to ear drum or structures behind it. In case of an infection, antibiotic ear drops maybe needed. If there is any discharge happening from ear or any other symptom like fever, drowsiness, etc, you will need to see an ear, nose and throat doctor.
