3)Do you get good hard erection ?
4) Do you get Orgasm (Climax of sexual satisfaction) during sex?
5) What is the volume of Ejaculate (Semen) that you ejaculate (Roughly)?

The low volume of ejaculate could be mainly due to side effect of SSRI drugs .

The pain in testicles could be due to mild infection and needs to be confirmed by Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum.

Taking antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily should help to resolve the issue of pain in Testicles .

1) What is the primary illness that you have for which you have been treated with SSRI drugs since last 8 years ?
I diagnosed by OCD, I was taking Luvox for 8 years. I stopped it 3 weeks ago. we are thinking of having a baby, so I had a semen test one week after quitting Luvox, the results were so bad. The number and quality of sperms was so low
I also have got some pain in my left testicle (pins and needles) going through my left leg
I am wondering if SSRI could be responsible for my semen test or not? if so is the stopping can retain that test or not?

Brief Answer:
Wait for few more days and repeat Semen Analysis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up.
Is the low volume of Semen a problem every time you have sex or it was noticed on the day you planned to collect it for examination ?

Repeat your Semen analysis after few days with due precaution of having abstinence for 5 days.

Since you have stopped SSRI since 3 weeks it should not be a reason for low Semen volume.

Following general measures should help to increase Semen volume.
1) Practice daily exercise for 45 minutes
2)Take high protein diet with vitamin C,D,A,Eand Zinc.
3)Avoid alcohol and smoking.

Thanks and Regards

Hi

Q1:Is the low volume of Semen a problem every time you have sex or noticed on the day you planned to collect it for examination?

From the night of test till morning, I had a huge fight in social media, and It continued when I made the sample. experts believe that a night can not affect the sperm

Yes It was low on the day of the test, I believe, generally the volume was less than one or two years ago.
----------------------

Q2:

"Since you have stopped SSRI for 3 weeks, it should not be a reason for low Semen volume."
It was a few days, not 3 weeks when I did the test

---------------------

Q3:

I have got a cyst in my left testicle, can it responsible for poor semen result?
I have got a pin and needle pain in my left testicle going through my left leg, what it can be?

Cheers

Brief Answer:
Repeat your Semen analysis after 3weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up

Since the test was done in early waning periods After you stooped taking SSRI the results could not be accurate Hence repeat Semen analysis after three weeks after observing abstinence ( No sex nor ejaculation , masturbation for 4-5 days)

Pain in left testicle could be due to cyst Repeat Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum to trace wether it is static or increased in size .

Thanks and Regards
