from the past 2 days.. not other symptoms only throat pain.

Apologies for the late reply.
Since there are no other symptoms, I would treat you with warm gargles. I would suggest to add tab disprin in warm water and then gargle. Try 2-3 times a day. In addition, you may also try antihistamine tablets like tab levocetrizine 5mg once a day.
You should also look out for fever and worsening throat pain. And if that happens, you should visit a doctor and discuss the need for antibiotics.
