It could be due to local inflammation or due to canker sore.
As a first line management you can apply triamcinolone mouth paste for symptomatic relief.
You can also take analgesics-anti inflammatory combination like aceclofenac-seratiopeptdase also.
Make sure that you don’t have any sharp teeth that make constant irritation.
You have to include more fruits and vegetables like citrus fruits for faster recovery.
If symptoms persists better to consult a dental surgeon and get evaluated.
