Please Advise What Medication/treatment Should Be Taken For Frequent Urination

Question: Hello Sir,

I am following up after 2 weeks of medications as prescribed by you ( attached is our previous consultation )
I got my ultrasound done today ( I have attached the report also) to rule out if the issue behind frequent urination is because of prostate enlargement

Following medication was suggested by you in the meantime:
1) Tab Merabregon 25 mg twice daily and Tomsulosin 0.4 mg once daily and observe your symptoms after two weeks of treatment

My 2 week's course is also over but I felt little relief except for past 2/3 days. Urination at night has slowly come down.
Not sure if it's because of these meds or something else, though I continue to keep drinking enough water.

Please advise what medication/treatment should be taken now.

Continue Merabegrone twice daily

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for uploading Scan report .Based on the report your frequency is unlikely to be due to BEP.
It is due to what is called as Over Active Bladder which will be taken cared off by Merabegrone which you will need to take for 3-4 months .

You may take combination of Merabegron and Solifenacin (Megatas S ) twice daily .

1) Get your Uroflometry study done .
2) Avoid drinking water after evening or before going to bed
3) Avoid taking coffee after afternoon
4) Avoid beer or alcohol after evening .
