Brief Answer:
If it results in any injuries to ligaments or tendons.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir
Thank you for asking ask a doctor service.
I have gone through your query. Fingers cracking if not voilently doing it doesn't cause any harm. But when it is doing in hard manner it can result in pulled ligament or tendons. In such case there is possibility of loosing strength. Also if you are having arthritis it can worsen on such hard movements also.
Hope this may help you. Let me Know if you have any further queries or follow up.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Pulling of gas into joint.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow-up query.
When you crack your knuckles it result in negative pressure and pulling of gas into joint. This is the one type of sound heard. Another one is due to tendons snapping over tissues. Pulling gas into joint does no harm. Tendons snapping over tissues also do no harm cracking is not in a hard or voilent manner.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Avoid frequent cracking.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow-up query.
I have gone through your uploaded literature.
Avoid frequent cracking. Also don't do it in hard or violent manner. You can use smiley balls for pressing to deviate your thought from doing it again and again.
PSA normal levels depends on age. Below 50 it should be below 2.5. As your age is 40 it should be below 2.5.
For those who are aged 60 or above values till 4 is normal.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

Prostate will enlarge more after 40 years. For 60 years and above PSA levels till 4 is normal. But if a person of 40 years old is having PSA above 2.5 then other investigations like ultrasound examination should be done for supporting evidence.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Better to do ultrasound investigation.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow-up query.
High PSA is not always cancer. It can be due to benign hyperplasia of prostate also. A PSA level of 4 and above is not usual for a person of age 40. Hence ultrasound investigation and examination by urologist should be done to rule out possibility of malignancy. If there is any calcification or unusual finding in ultrasound or while examination then biopsy should be done also.
Thanks.
