Brief Answer:
Cancer recurrence is unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

As the CECT report is normal the possibilities of cancer recurrence is very unlikely. You can also go for a serum CEA test to check the recurrence.

I will suggest her to drink plenty of water to keep herself hydrated. Breathing techniques can help raise her oxygen levels. A repeat chest X ray and blood oxygen levels can be done to confirm any breathing difficulties.

We also need to rule out other possibilities like anemia and thyroid dysfunction. You can also go for a complete blood count (CBC) and thyroid function test (TFT) to rule out anemia and thyroid disorders. Sometimes fibromyalgia and depression can also cause similar symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks

Mum isnt in any pain or anything as I thought of chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia but she doesnt have many symptoms.. The CT scan does say it looks like mum has had a kidney infection so this isnt suspicious of cancer is it? I am so scared of it coming back
