Hi,

Hyperthyroidism is most of times reversible, if it is not associated with structural deformities in thyroid gland.

In about 40 % there are chances of recurrences.

Complications of hyperthyroidism include
Heart related problems like cardiomyopathy is common
Osteoporosis, weakness of bones
Vision disturbances
Thyrotoxicosis emergencies
Skin related problems

These above complications may not been seen in all
