Question: My 5 Month old baby has got cold and running nose ,he also coughs often and sneezes due to cold .Please recommend some medicines which can help to get over it

Hi,
If there is no fever and he is active and playful, we need not worry much- this might be a flu.
To relieve symptoms, you can give him the following drugs for 5 days:
1. Sy Levocetirizine(2.5mg/5ml) 2.0ml at night
2. Sy Levosalbutamol(1mg/5ml) 2ml 3 times daily
3. Saline nasal drops 2 drops as needed to relieve nasal block
If no improvement in 3-5 days, we can evaluate further
