Brief Answer:
Test reports are almost normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi Romin,
Welcome to Ask A Doctor service
I have gone through your query and understand your concern

I am not aware of the child's symptoms and the reason for testing.

Anyhow, the reports are more or less normal for her age. The only abnormality here is an increased proportion of neutrophils in differential white cell count. Since the total count is normal, this is not much concerning. Other tests, including serum IgA level and IgA anti TTG is normal.

I hope this answer will help

Hi Doc, We had taken her to doctor for influenza vaccine on Tuesday. And doctor observed that in period of 1 year my daughter has not gained weight and is about 21kg so he said to do all these test to rule out any gluten problem.

Brief Answer:
No much worries

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
By 8 years we expect around 24 kg, and she is 21- that is, 87.5% of expected weight.
Anything above 85% is acceptable and we need not worry much

If you let me know her weight 1 year back, her present height and parents’ height (fathers and mothers), I can give more insight into her overall growth

Regards, Dr Aslam

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi Romin,

Although her present weight is acceptable, she has not gained much in the last 1 year. Ideally, at this age, kids gain around 3 kg per year. Since her present height is not mentioned (only her parent's height is mentioned), I could not comment on that.

Anyhow, let us ensure a healthy diet for her. Include a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet. This will ensure an adequate supply of vitamins and minerals which are important for the proper assimilation of nutrients to the body. Also, a protein source should be there in all meals(chicken/meat/dairy/pulses).

Hope I have answered your query.

If you need further clarification, I will be happy to help.

Wishing you good health

Regards,
Dr. Aslam
