Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for the query. I can understand your concern. According to your statement, your son has been suffering from pain below the right side of the chest, and the pain is aggravated while in a sitting position.

Such type of pain may result from injury, muscle strain, acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), costochondritis, etc.

As his pain has been subsided after taking Pantoprazole which is pantoprazole and meftal spas, so this pain can result from the above-mentioned causes. Some investigations like X-ray, CBC, endoscopy of upper GIT, etc may help to find out the exact underlying causes for his present sufferings and then treat them accordingly.

In the meantime, he can take his currently using medications occasionally for pain relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
